Topic: Will the Nintendo NX replace the 3DS and/or Wii U?

@rallydefault: Logically I would think new handheld next year, new console in 2017. it doesn't matter honestly because everyone can see that as soon as NX launches Nintendo's done with 3DS and Wii u regardless. 2016 is likely the last year of major titles for 3DS and Wii U.

@WebHead: Yea, that's kind of what I'm thinking. I want to get a bit more life out of my Wii U (Star Fox will be great, and culminating with Zelda will make me very happy), but I'm VERY ready for Nintendo to move on from the 3DS. It had a...well, down then up run, but it's time.

The three scenarios I think make the most sense:
2016 - Portable
2017 - Home Console

2017 - Home Console & Portable

2017 - Portable
2018 - Home Console

i hate it when people read some dumb article about something being released in 2 years and ask if something out now is "still worth it"
