How will Miiverse exist on the NX if the NX won't have a touch screen mechanism like the Wii U?
It will be posts all over without any drawings?

Maybe the GamePad will be an optional controller. So drawings would still be possible just a little more rare.

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

I'm sure the handheld will have a touch screen.

I've got a feeling that the default NX controller is going to be pretty standard (think Pro controller for Wii U). While I personally LOVE the gamepad and the possibilities it brings with it, I think Nintendo is going to take the more traditional route. BUT....I think there will be "something" special about the console to make it stand out.

As for Miiverse, I agree the Gamepad may be an optional controller to use. But I could see Nintendo releasing a (hopefully well programmed) Miiverse App for smart phones and tablets that would somehow work in conjunction with whatever you were doing on the NX at that moment, perhaps by using your NNID. There would surely still be a desktop site that interacted with the console the same way.

I honestly can't see Nintendo abandoning Miiverse. If anything, I'm expecting even heavier integration. I love Miiverse and use it pretty frequently. I just wish Nintendo would loosen up a little with their privacy guidelines. It would be nice to be able to private message another user and exchange ID's. That would make online play all the better.

Miiverse is a great idea and seems to have taken off among dedicated Nintendo players. But I don't think it's potential has been fully realized quite yet.

Nintendo will invent a new kind of technology I'm sure.

I don't think the drawing pad integration of Miiverse is essential in Nintendo's business view. They already separated it out with the last Miiverse update and it is really hard to moderate compared to words and screenshots. Personally I like the feature and it is the only aspect that drew me in to using Miiverse, but logistically it is a nightmare for Nintendo to regulate and integrate going forward.
