@Megumi_Sagano Poodlecorp (the people who hacked Pokémon Go before, causing the servers to crash and the 3-step glitch to occur) said that they are planning to make the servers go down for 20+ hours today. The whole team's Twitter is @PoodleCorp and one of the main guys is @xotehpoodle.

Poodlecorp only claimed to be responsible for the servers going down via a DDoS, and I don't think it was ever proven that they really were responsible.

The game was still highly popular and that was the same day GO was released in Canada so the DDoS was probably because of the traffic that caused on the servers, and Poodlecorp just took the blame.

Unless they actually do anything today, pretty sure that they are a bunch of fakers.

So far the game has been working for me..pfft...posers. why do they want to take it down anyway? Just for the "lulz"?

Well the servers didn't go down at all yesterday. Are they planning on another day? So far all seems good.

I started with Squirtle and already caught ratatta, minkey and cubone right here in my house.

And apparently there's eevees around here.

Awesome zerk! I would love to get a Clefable someday, unfortunately I haven't had many opportunities to play the app lately. Still I did manage to get a few Clefairys which made me happy.

...Hatched a Magikarp, going to the beach this Friday...the stupid green circle thing is still pointless for me.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? When a pokemon appears when I tap on it the screen goes all white and stays that way until I close and restart it. It's been happening since the update. I don't know how to fix this.

It still works properly for me.
