Koopalings better be in it.

Moved this over to mobile.

This was so predictable that I thought it wouldn't happen. I thought Nintendo would've been more creative than this.. Oh well, more publicity for them I guess?

edit: Wait, so this is iOS exclusive? Makes even less sense..

Nintendo haven't exactly been creative for a long time now. Look at how little the games from New Super Mario Bros DS to Super Mario Bros U have evolved. This fits right in with that. Not a lot of effort needed and it's going to make them more money than any Wii U game has by far. Could actually make them more money than all of their Wii U games so far (profit).

I was able to catch a glimpse as I was just checking Twitter when I saw a tweet saying that Miyamoto is on Apple stage.

It's its, not it's.

@Peach64 It's iOS exclusive, and even exclusive to iOS 10 I believe. They're limiting their userbase, so I don't think this is the new Pokemon GO or anything that comes close to that.

@Kuhang There's a lot I can do, but I don't think deleting threads is one of them. I'll leave it locked like any other thread, it's no big deal!

@Octane Is that a picture of the actual game or just concept? Also, I heard the game was just first on Apple but would release on Android later

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

@DarthNocturnal I'm gonna guess it's an Animal Crossing game that will be revealed during the mini-direct.

Man, people are really acting as if this is a huge deal. I thought everyone saw this coming.

This is pretty much my thoughts on the game as well. It is disappointing and sad to see that this is the debut of gaming's biggest mascot on the platform.

Looking forward to: No More Heroes: Travis Strikes Again

@DefHalan Haven't heard that, but yes that screenshot is the actual game as you can see in the vid above.

This article says Apple first (it updated since I asked the other questions, with the pictures)
"They'll be doing it first on iOS in a new game called Super Mario Run."

And then ignore some of the other series?

Anyway, this seems to be a money maker and what a lot of people wanted, so eh.

I'm actually looking really forward to this. Mario's gameplay will translate very well to the mobile due to its simplistic nature.

Roll on December!

I'm excited for Super Mario Run and as far as the game goes I think they'll go for something like Rayman Jungle Run/Fiesta run with the level designs, which is challenging progressive level designs and not just an infinite runner. I have enjoyed Rayman Jungle Run and Rayman Fiesta Run thoroughly so if Super Mario Run is anything like that I think I'm gonna enjoy it.

And as for Mario coming to iOS, I've already digested the fact that at some point this was happening because Nintendo has been hinting it since quite some time and I believe this is just the beginning and eventually all major Nintendo IP's will be on mobile and once people have digested this fact and accept this move of Nintendo , they are gonna put out full fledged Nintendo console experience on mobile I'm talking NSMB, SMT, Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing, Pikmin etc. They are preparing for life after their consoles. It's logical and It's just plain business. Nintendo IP's are huge and this will make them lots of money. It's gonna be profitable for them and we get all our loved games, difference the exclusivity will not exist anymore.
