Yeah, I've only had nothing happen with the Many Wise Words events. At least events are easier to skip through now.

I've figured another cheesy strategy to deal with an achievement.

There's an achievement that requires you to share stuff on social media, well, when you select share you can see it shows some messaging apps too... If you have one that allows you to send messages to yourself such as Telegram... Then you can share without sharing!

@Meowpheel I did that literally a few days after downloading the app. I just sent myself a private message on Twitter 100 times (or whatever the max number is) so I don't bother any of my friends or followers with inane tweets about useless Magikarps.

No this is a genious new strategy no one thought of before.

What I did to get around this was to click the share button so that it opens up the Twitter app, then hit the "X" instead of sending the message. That still counts for the achievement even though you didn't actually post anything.

I just sent them to notes, lol
Also, anyone else accidentally clicking Piplup when you haven't used up all your points yet, wasting the skill? Keeps happening to me, it's irritating.

I do that all the time, but it doesn't waste the skill, it just says something to the effect of "you don't need this yet".

I'm talking about when you have something like 2 points left, and then you accidentally use Piplup's skill (and mine's fully upgraded too).

Oh ok, I haven't upgraded piplup at all.

Edit: Oh holy smokes, Charizard just gave me a "mountain of coins". 15k coins~ That's like more expensive than charizard itself. Wish I had a coin bonus karp.

This game is working against me now, whenever I get a crappy Karp...it will not give me a single chance to retire it via an event. Of course they throw the events at me like crazy when I have decent fish.

Well, apparently you can activate a one-time retirement event if you keep jumping while at the aquarium.

In case you haven't done that and want to get rid of that magikarp.

Yeah, done that and the everstone thing already. Seems like both are one-time because I can't get them to happen again.

In case anyone wants some more evidence that coins are the most valuable asset, leveling up my magikarp biscuit in the 90s is taking 500k (and rising) per level. I'm going to assume that level 100 is going to cost over 1 million coins.

Yeah, I'm now starting to prioritise coins over JP. I've got most of the food and training at Lv 50, and it's dawning on me that levelling them up to the max is going to take a long time.

@crimsontadpoles I've got the magikarp biscuit to level 99, and it'll take 3.7 million coins to max it out (it took a million to get it from 98 to 99).

So yeah, it'll take a while...
