I'm reminiscing here and miss Nintendo power. Granted in the age of digital distribution, magazines aren't king but I still feel there's a market for it.
Maybe they could coincide with their Nintendo direct and provide a bit more information upon release. Interviews with indy developers, Club Nintendo type promotions like soundtracks. It could work.
No, probably not. For one, I don't want to bother with traditional print media. For another, sites like NintendoLife here are basically an e-magazine, with reviews and previews, interviews, features, opinion pieces, etc, etc, and it's free and always updating. You don't have to wait for weekly or monthly editions. Also, it has forums.
Magazines, and print media in general, is a dying medium. The internet is just way too convenient.
