The Nintendo World store, located in New York's Rockefeller Center plaza area, has closed its doors temporarily for renovations, giving a huge makeover with a new look and bigger space for this Nintendo store.
The store will re-open at 9am on November 1, 2010 and their grand re-opening event on November 7, 2010 with the following new features:
- Expansion of the Nintendo Showcase to twice its original size. The showcase will feature Nintendo products and artifacts in a visually impressive way.
- New floors and new lighting.
- New interactive stations for Nintendo DSi™ and Nintendo DSi XL™.
- New graphics throughout the store.
