wind waker had a certain charm to it and some of its music was cool to listen too it certainly felt like a zelda game to me i hope to find a copy locally around here or if nintendo releases a port on the 3DS or something, i dont think i ever did finish it or something cant remeber
I never had even a single negative thought about any version of Link.......until I saw him in those ugy puffy pants for Skyward Sword. They still make me cringe.

Why you put my link in ridiculous pants? Why!?
Maybe so people wo't think he's either not wearing pants or he's wearing tights. I dunno D:

Wind Waker was the game that taught me to not judge a game by it's cover. Such ugly designs, yet so fun.
Really? I felt the complete opposite. So beautiful, yet so boring. I enjoyed bits here and there, but for the most part this was hands down thee' worst zelda i've ever experienced. Phantom Hour Glass was much more enjoyable.

Mind = Blown
Isn't this coming from the guy who hates Super Mario Bros 3?
i like all variations of link (even CDi)... TP is my personal favorate though. why should we HATE toon link just because he looks different? thats like saying you hate Paper Mario because he looks to thin!
Toon Link in WindWaker, look great. it fit the game real well. But, The toony look doesn't look so great on Adult Link. I like the darker design they did in Twilight Princess.
But, SkywardSword looks like they put Twilight Princess and WindWaker together, in one game. So, before we judge this game on how it looks, after all is still a Zelda game.
like it or not, you guys are still gonna buy it anyway :3
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
As you can tell by my sig, I'm currently playing through Wind Waker. I absolutely LOVE the toon style (a major reason why I also got Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks), but am not too keen on a more dark/realistic Zelda. As a result, I have only very lightly played Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess is near the bottom of my "To Get . . . eventually" list. Of course, with the upcoming price drop, that may change. I like The Legend of Zelda as it should be; a fictional, non-realistic adventure. I can't wait to replay the retro Zeldas after Wind Waker!
Originally when I saw WW's graphics, I was disappointed. The tech demo they showed at the E3 reveal of Gamecube back in the day was what I was hoping for. That looked awesome, and the toon stuff looked too cutesy.
Now I don't mind, and I think the style has held up well for gamecube (I guess that was Nintendo's tropical island phase?). I love the toon link style on the DS. It really makes use of the limited hardware/graphics quite well.
I like TP/OoT's styles as well, but tbh WW will hold up better than TP, because it DOESN'T try to be realistic. That doesn't mean I won't always enjoy it.
I am way too lazy to think of something clever. My Backloggery
