1. Nowhere did I mention anything about the Wii versions selling less the the HD entries.
2.VGchartz is an incredibly unreliable source of information.

I wish I knew of a place, but VG Chartz is all I can find. However, I've found several articles that point to their figures being complete bubkis. I'll say this though, you're not wrong about about Mario & Sonic at the Olimpics, as their sales figures are in the Guinness World records of over 7 million sales on the Wii.

Classic Sonic has proper coloured eyelids now. I was never bothered about his green eyes but his eyelids always bothered me. Now everything in my life is happy again.

its on XBox360 and PS3 becous its a downloadable game and since the Wiivare has the limit they wont releas it on Wii

@Sephariel Actually the formats haven't been announced yet, but the logos are there to say the game will contain online functions for 360 and PS3. My guess is they'll be disc releases with online leaderboards, for example.

Pretty sure this is a full retail release, not a downloadable XBLA/PSN game.

I'm certainly interested in this game, but there's something a little depressing about the fact that the main reason anyone's excited about it is the 'return' of Classic Sonic. Like the green eyes and lankier posture was the sole reason why the 'hog has had rather fanbase-dividing outings for the last however many years.

So basically, it's either going to be a great game with the "typical modern Sonic irks" - and this is the Sega fanbase, the game could be handed from the heavens by God himself and they'll find some reason why it sucks (probably that God wasn't part of the original development team) - in which case we'll face another year or so of Sonic 4 scale Internet Backdraft that they've ruined a classic. Or it'll actually be a mediocre game starring Sonic's classic design. In which case lock your doors and hide your children.
