If Wendy wasn't a thing, I would say yes, but they will pull anyway a Toad and now BOWSER IS LIKE YOSHI! AND THE KOOPALINGS ARE NOT HIS CHILDREN, THEY ARE WART'S CHILDREN! AND LUIGI IS NOT MARIO'S BROTHER! AND PEACH IS BOWSER JR.'S MOTHER AFTER ALL!!!!

Seriously, after the story about Toads not being males and females and Yoshi not being a dinosaur I finally understood that the "current" story about the Koopalings is the last of Nintendo's problems regarding the Mario universe after all...

Plot Twist: Mario is actually evil.

If you fought against Bowser Jr. in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team and jumped in the Junior Clown Car you will see that Mario and Luigi are SERIOUSLY evil! Not even Bowser treated childrens like that!

@Megumi @Geonjaha: Yes, I too was expecting quite a bit more (new character reveal...), but as you might have seen from my comments, I have not much faith in Nintendo's "brand management" (a.k.a. the people that suggest the official responses so that Yoshi is no longer a dinosaur despite still being a dinosaur and Toads are no longer males and females), so probably it was better to keep the responses like this than to have him pull other Koopalings/Yoshis/Toads... after all from Miyamoto's point of view, the so famous 2012 interview suggested that he views the characters as just having a role in the games, which would be perfectly reasonable from a game designer point of view who consider gameplay the most important aspect of games.
