Topic: Kingdom Hearts 3 on the Switch?

Hey everyone,
Maybe some of you know it already or maybe you don't, but Kingdom Hearts 3 is releasing in 2018.
A new trailer made it's debut at D23 yesterday that showed Toy Story as a new world, now some of you may be thinking "but Kingdom Hearts 3 won't becoming to the Switch" and I would like point out one of IGN's posts that caught my eye where they interviewed the director Mr. Tetsuya Nomura, and he commented by saying:
“The Nintendo Switch is definitely a very interesting piece of hardware, but if we lightly say, ‘Oh yeah, we’ll be on the Nintendo Switch,’ I’m sure people will come back and say, ‘But what about the PS4 and Xbox One? We want them out first. Don’t focus on other platforms, “So for now, we want to focus on what platforms we’ve already announced we’re going to be releasing Kingdom Hearts 3 on. And so after, perhaps, maybe we can start thinking about other possibilities.”

So would you like to see Kingdom Hearts on the Nintendo Switch?

As long the rumour is true.

We all should be happy once KH3 is actually released on a console. There may be a 2018 there but I won't believe it until I hold my copy in my very own hands.

Wouldn't wait even longer for a Switch version, though.

I'm not much of a fan of the franchise. I guess a port would be OK, but I doubt it'd sell well if it came out after the Ps4/XBO release. Seems like a pretty niche game (with a dedicated audience), so I can't see a port being worth doing tbh.

Is it necessary to play 1 and 2 first?

@Tsurii I'd say the Zelda timeline is close to being as much of a mess, especially with the existence of BotW.

It's not going to come to Switch. The Switch couldn't run it and there's simply no audience for it. Kingdom Hearts is a PlayStation centric franchise. People need to accept that. PlayStation is where the fanbase is.

There is absolutely no chance it will come to Switch.

The comments given by the developers were saying that in the most polite way possible.

There is no chance in any of Dante's long list of stages of hell that this would happen.

edit: To be clear: I would buy any KH game for Switch as a preorder game absolutely.
