For all you European visitors, Nintendo has announced that the Pikachu Coloured Pichu, given in America last month, is to be given over the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection this month. This event is scheduled to last from March 5 2010 until March 26 2010. This Pichu can be downloaded to Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. Just connect via Mystery Gift and you can download it. As mentioned before, this Pichu is a Shiny Pichu and gives you access to the Spiky-eared Pichu in HeartGold/SoulSilver. Click here for more details.

They're giving out the Pichu in the US too over Wifi. This was the first Wifi pokemon I could get, since I got the game so late, and I can't go to Gamestop. I got my Pichu though!

Got mine on Diamond and Platinum on Saturday. Both of them are now sitting in Platinum, one to go over to SoulSilver when I get it at launch and one to go over to HeartGold when I get it later on in the year.
I just wish that damn Movie 12 Arceus was a Wi-Fi event and not an in-store event. Do want.
This reminds me, I think I've still got the Member's Card and Oak's Letter from previous Wi-Fi Events, but never went to go catch Darkrai/Shaymin. /me notes down on To Do list to go catch them

Wifi events aren't region-specific. This one is arranged by and for Europe, but as long as you have a non-Japanese version of the games, you can download it no matter where you are. Always been like that.
Really? I thought Europe and North America were considered separate regions for Wifi events. Either way, it's great that non-japanese game card holders can take advantage of it!

Actually i just checked it's also available here in the US check your Pokemon Diamond / Pearl and Platinum fellow US you will find the event, it's a good thing since i wasn't able to receive that event last time.
I already have it, so I can tell you it's worth it. It comes with Volt Tackle and you don't have to do any of that breeding-a-Pikachu-with-a-certain-item-whose-name-I-can't-remember-and-then-hatch-a-Pichu-only-to-find-out-it-doesn't-have-Volt-Tackle crap.
uhm... i really think this is the dumbest promo they'eve EVER had. aren't pichus basically pikachu-colored, anyway? isn't this just a slightly richer shade of yellow? sounds like a once-in-a-lifetime can't-miss deal!

It's shiny. All 'mon have a super-rare alternate colour version (known as 'shiny' because they sparkle when sent into battle, like Red Gyarados) that you have a 1 in 8,192 chance of encountering in the wild. This 'Pikachu-Colored Pichu' is a shiny Pichu, so it's already a considerable rarity. It's main purpose, however, is to trade it to HGSS where it will activate an event that gets you Spiky-Eared Pichu.

You have THREE? I haven't gotten a single event Pokémon in years, and this event just ended! Do you mind... erm...? EDIT: Following my last question, does anyone else mind if... you know...? EDIT: Never mind about the Pichu, but if anyone with a Jirachi and Arceus would, I would be so grateful. I just have to get access to a WEP, and fast.
