Token_Girl	4. Posted: Mon 8th Mar 2010 10:39 GMT They're giving out the Pichu in the US too over Wifi. This was the first Wifi pokemon I could get, since I got the game so late, and I can't go to Gamestop. I got my Pichu though!

Both of them are now sitting in Platinum, one to go over to SoulSilver when I get it at launch and one to go over to HeartGold when I get it later on in the year. I just wish that damn Movie 12 Arceus was a Wi-Fi event and not an in-store event. Do want.

This one is arranged by and for Europe, but as long as you have a non-Japanese version of the games, you can download it no matter where you are. Always been like that.

It comes with Volt Tackle and you don't have to do any of that breeding-a-Pikachu-with-a-certain-item-whose-name-I-can't-remember-and-then-hatch-a-Pichu-only-to-find-out-it-doesn't-have-Volt-Tackle crap.

All 'mon have a super-rare alternate colour version (known as 'shiny' because they sparkle when sent into battle, like Red Gyarados) that you have a 1 in 8,192 chance of encountering in the wild. This 'Pikachu-Colored Pichu' is a shiny Pichu, so it's already a considerable rarity. It's main purpose, however, is to trade it to HGSS where it will activate an event that gets you Spiky-Eared Pichu.
