Same thing here. I played Prime and Fusion, didn't like them.

I don't have any unrealistic expectations, but I'd be happy if they give any new details on Xenoblade and Yoshi. The former is my most anticipated game of the year, and Yoshi is just too cute.

Hmmmmmmmmm, I'd go with 3DS just because I think the system needs some content and I wouldn't mind Hunters 2.

I'm not a 3DS only user. I'd still prefer it on 3DS. It needs the games. Oh, and the added bonus of pissing off Wii U only owners

We all know the direct is to announce the New 2DS.

Why don't people like Fusion. It was great and it continued from Other M- Why? It saddens me. Whatever. A 3d modeled side platform Metroid game for the 3ds would be swell. Oh and it would need 60 FPS. Hell, they remake Super Metroid, Fusion, Zero Mission or something and I'd probably go buy it.

I'd like to see a Metroid on both platforms.

Tanabe (meaning Nintendo SPD Group 3) would mean any western studio, such as Next Level Studios for example.

The 4Chan post the rumor came from claimed that IGN was going to confirm it's cancellation the day after. That article never showed up as far as I can tell.

A user on NeoGaf pointed out that on the release schedule on Nintendo's Japanese site, Xenoblade, Majora's Mask, Mario Vs. Donkey Kong and Mario Party 10 are no longer listed as "games released after February" even though they were just recently.

Mario vs. Donkey Kong U might be a winter eShop title, just like Dr. Mario was last year. I can't find any listings on that title on amazon.com, amazon.fr or amazon.de. (Only amazon.co.uk still lists it.) I'm pretty sure I found it listed on amazon.com directly after E3 last year.

Because from about 1970-2000, there was very little progression in TV and phone technology. Nobody bought a new phone more often than every 10 or so years, whenever your old one broke. Upgrading to the newest tech every year or every few years is a very, very new thing and really only makes sense to the youngest generation.

I think it's going to be hilarious if this direct has a good amount of attention on Xenoblade Chronicles X(you know, like a 3 minute trailer, Iwata talks about details, maybe even a message from Takahashi thanking the fans for their patience and enthusiasm for the game, etc.) and then see IGN completely leave it out when they do a "Nintendo Direct Jan 14 Summary."

I personally hope they only focus on games coming out from now till June. They don't need to show anything for games from July on till E3 or maybe in May at the earliest.

Metroid really is E3 material so I highly doubt oys gonna be shown in the Direct. Metroid should hit both platforms... but I want it to hit Wii U first.

So I guess SMT x FE was cancelled.

Me too. Crushingly disappointed by that. So far, nothing really interesting for me. Finally, a Wario amiibo but it's not the Wario I want.

Good too see 13th February EU release for New 3DS, but I won't be buying it so soon.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3D on 2nd of April. That's when I'll be buying a New 3DS XL.

Now that we have Wii VC, I'm angry that they're going to put Xenoblade Chronicles on the 3DS, because they probably won't release the original on the eShop.
