I paid for yearly membership so I could play the old retro games. When my switch broke and had to change I downloaded the retro games again but it won't leave me play them. Any Ideas how to fix this I'm guessing activating the account on the new console but can't figure it out.

thanks in advance

You will need to register your previous NNID to your new console and have it registered as your "primary" console. If your previous console has not been deregistered (I'm not sure if you can do this online and without access to your previous Switch), then you may need to contact Nintendo directly for assistance.

@tbarry31 You're in luck. You can actually deregister your old Switch by signing into your Nintendo Account on a web browser. Once you've done that, you just need to open the Eshop on your new console and you're good to go. Here is a step by step guide on how to do it.

Same thing happened to me.

You can log in to your Nintendo account online and deregister your original Switch

Then once you log in with your new Switch, itโ€™ll automatically register as the primary
