Topic: Wii U GamePad scratch problem

I dont usually mind scratches, especially if it's a small one like this on the edge of my screen. But I have been having huge problems with it as the gamepad thinks I am pressing onto that point of the screen. Is there anyway I can stop it from doing that, it's very annoying especially when there is a link at the side of the screen.

I am afraid the only way to fix that is to contact Nintendo and send it in for repairs.
