Welcome to NL kaio. If you have an SD reader for your PC then you can just copy all the files by dragging them onto the new SD card. It also helps for you to back up all your data that way.

The quick way would be to use a PC to copy the data from one card to the other. Be sure to keep the folders in the same order. The slow way would be to put in your new card and start re-downloading everything. It doesn't cost any more, but it can take a while. Rock Band 2 will not read an SD card larger than 2GB, though. It just won't. Sorry... So you might as well keep all your RB2 songs where they are... hope that was helpful.
oh yeah i forgot abt the SD issues with RB2 but thanks a lot , can i use 2 SD cards?? like use the rb2 dlc one wen playing that n the 16 GB ones for the other games???

If you were to copy all your data (cause you don't know where your rockband stuff is) into 2 different SD cards, 2 and 16. Then you could just put in the 2GB card whenever you play RB and keep the 16 in the Wii all the rest of the time.

Well, as stated, you'd need to swap cards then because Rock Band 2 won't recognise anything bigger than a 2GB card since SDHC support wasn't in place when Rock Band 2 was originally released.
Kingston is the bomb when it comes to RAM, but their compact-flash cards for cameras are absolute crap. considering how much it sucks to lose perhaps weeks of photos (not to mention at least one major photo shoot that was lost and thus had to be done over) because of a messed up memory card, i wouldn't trust their SD cards either, to be honest. not with anything super-important, anyway, lol.
never had a problem yet with a SanDisk memory card/USB stick, though.

I think it's a happy coincidence. SD actually means "Secure Digital" - part of the spec is an anti-duplication measure which was intended to prevent them from being used as a vector for piracy, though I'm not sure how that works or if it's apparent to most people.
