Topic: What do they mean?

So in between each race in the to left corner of the screen it shows stars and says to press X I pressed it and put the star up what does that do? I’m not talking about stars you get for getting 1st place in all 4 races either

If you press "X", you can save the replay so that it never disappears (if you don't delete it yourself). It gets saved in the "Mario Kart TV" section.
