Topic: Washed Out Colors/Non-US Systems

Hi all:

I've noticed on nearly every video/picture of a Switch game, they all look super-bright and extremely washed out (versus clear, rich, vivid colors that one would hope for). Is this typical for Switch games?

Also, for systems like the Super Famicom Classic, etc., are Japanese or European Nintendo systems able to be played in the US? Or, is a special adapter needed?
