Well, I'm not going to try to fix it tonight, but wanted to post it here anyways for me to look into tomorrow sometime. I really have no idea what caused it, but 2 USB ports in the back of my computer just stopped working...According to my computer, it's still picking up the devices hooked into them, but...they just won't work. As if the ports lost power or something...Any ideas on how to fix this? Don't tell me I'm gonna have to open up the case and all that...xD

Tried the troubleshooting and driver updating and still nothing.

Have you tried different devices in the ports to make sure its not the devices? Other then that the only quick fix I can think of is a can of air to clean any dust or debris that might be cause a problem.

Well you can pick up a can of air at an office supply store or electronic store. Heck I even saw some cans of air at the Dollar Tree for a dollar. I would try that first cause if that's not the problem well then you are going to have to open up your PC and all that fun stuff.

If you've got extra panels in the front, you can get a usb/sd card combo thingy that will plug into the motherboard.

What do you mean by this, it may be the only option is to get another device...seems like these two are pretty much dead. (and I do have 3 in the front, but, one of them is dead too, though that one has been dead for a while now, lol)

But yeah tried everything, even took Microsoft's advice on their site, gave me even more problems, did a system restore that didn't work but somehow fixed those problems. (don't ask, lol) So now I'm back at where I started...bleh.

I knew this was going to happen, and should have known this was the caused...I fixed it, reinstalled the motherboard's chipset driver.
Long story short, it's Nvidia's fault, because I also have an Experience problem, and their solution was uninstall everything involving ATI. Chipset is done by ATI...so...yeah. >.>

Apparently that caused the USB 3.0 (just found out that they were 3.0s, lol) ports to stop working, so not only did Nvidia failed to solve the Experience issue, they caused more issues. They suck. lol
