Topic: SteetPass for Nintendogs+Cats showing previous owner's Mii and dog

I bought a copy of Nintendogs + Cats Poodle pre-owned, and when I put it into my 2ds XL, it showed the previous owner's Mii for StreetPass and their dog. I exited the game, then deleted that game and started my own with a new dog. I set up my StreetPass with my Mii and new dog. The problem is that whenever someone meets me with StreetPass in game, it shows up the previous owner's Mii and dog. I see the person I met in my journal like I should, but they see the previous person's Mii and dog in their journal. I am not sure how to fix this problem.
