Almost every time I play ranked mode (I'm getting kind of bored of Turf War), I keep getting disconnected from the server saying I don't have an internet connection or "an error occurred" and I know it's not my router or modem, because I check it every time the game disconnects.
We are having the unstable connection or connection lost error every game more or less. There might be the odd game were we actually get to the end, why is this happening?
Yes, it's due to changes Nintendo have made in the Splatoon V2 update. Subsequent 2.x updates also have the changes. You can tell this is where the problems began (and that they're not related to your router or network connection specifically) because the Splatoon demo still works fine for Testfire events with the exact same setup that refuses to work with V2.
Nintendo will not acknowledge the problem or reverse the changes. I am currently trying to put pressure on them to provide refunds to those affected. The effort has been ongoing since September and I am not planning on giving up just yet.
