I was just wondering if I should buy Metal Gear Solid 3D when it comes out? I have only played MGS2 on my PS2 and I absolutely loved it. Can anyone who has played MGS3 give their opinion on the matter?

MGS3 is one of the best games I've ever played, still in my top favorite. You can play it without having any previous knowledge of MGS because it's a prequel. You won't get some of the in-jokes, but it's still worth it.

As long as the 3DS version turns out as good as the PS2 original then heck yes get it.
MGS 3 is my favorite MGS game! Crawling around in the grass and sneaking up on enemies makes you feel like Rambo or something. I much prefer the outdoor environments to the drab industrial look of the first two.
Plus you get to play as Snake for the entire game unlike MGS 2 where you're only Snake for the first hour or so.

And Naked Snake is so much better than boring old Solid Snake in every way, because he's more like an actual person than a lame emotionless soldier clone thing
