My friend gave me his old SD card for my birthday and I tried to use it on Wii U (for stuff like saving photos in Smash Bros). The game keeps saying there's no SD card inserted, even if I deleted all the files from it and tried it numerous times. There doesn't even seem to be an option for checking SD card out in the system settings.
My SC card is a Kingston SD HC 16GB .
It would be great if David Wise made soundtracks to all future Nintendo games.
Try formatting the card via your pc. That often does a little more than just deleting everything.
Also, there's a very small protection switch on most SD cards, is yours set to not protect? Be careful with that switch though, I once accidentally broke mine off and the entire card became unusable
