Topic: Scratched too hard on 3DS prepaid card

This Christmas, I used a quarter to scratch the registration code off of it, but I noticed I scratched too hard. Do you guys know if Nintendo will fix it, or if Gamestop get it replaced? Please help, it's a $20 card!

Nintendo might replace it. Don't even bother with game stop, if they know that they can't make money on it/re-sell it, they won't take it back.

Not sure what the 3DS cards are like, but one time I had a card I thought I had scratched too hard, but I had just smudged the numbers, and when I stuck a piece of tape to it and pulled it off I could easily read the numbers once the smudges were gone.

Yup, I will, but it's Christmas, and thier offices are closed and will open tomorrow.

But the numbers aren't smudged, they're literally ripped apart. I can read most of the numbers, but there are some that I just can't make out.

That happen to a friend of mine and he tried to take it back to Gamestop but they wouldnt give him a new one (How do they know that the card wasnt used and the numbers were messed up afterwards) you have to call Nintendo thats the only way.

I have done that, lost $20 bucks that day.
That why now I only use my MasterCard to buy points

The problem is officially fixed.
I called NoA, who told me to send them an email with a bunch of 3DS informaton and contact information.
Later today, they sent me back and they put the 20 dollars on my account.
