Hi guys,
I'm trying to transfer data from an old 2 gb sd card to a higher capacity one. To do that you have to go into explorer and drag the folders from your old sd card to your desktop. Well, when I drag the 'Nintendo 3DS' folder, I get a message halfway through that says: this destination already contains a folder named 'dbs'.

When I click 'Yes' to merge, it continues, then I get another message that says there is already a file with 'xxx' name in this location. When I click the 'copy and replace' button it finishes that. When the copying is finally done, the folder on my desktop has fewer files than the one on my sd card. So obviously all the data did not copy over.

Anyone had this problem before? How do you fix it? I'm using Windows 7 64-bit, BTW.

I never had this problem. I made a new folder to put everything in (essentially putting the 3DS folder in a new one), but I did not copy the new folder to the second SD card

I got it to work. There were two folders inside the 3DS one with the exact same file names and content. I just deleted one of them. Weird.
