Looks like after all these years you can Still use the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector. If you have the Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport from Windows 7 then you can still do an adhoc network to a shared network adapter so it would be similar to the original function.

It is an old device that never got out of the XP era. There are no official Drivers for it and it never worked on a 64 bit environment. If you have a DS Phat it only supported WEP and no one would want to use WEP on their router. This device is over 10 years old. Question: How old, obsolete and unsupported must a device be to be considered retro? Which category on the forums would you have put this under?

Edit: The drivers on the Nintendo site Seem to indicate Late 2005 which would be at just over 10 years.
