Topic: NEED HELP WITH CONNECTING WII U TO MONITOR!

Hello, Recently I have been trying to connect my Wii U to my hp monitor. It doesn't have a hdmi port, so I have bought a hdmi female to dvi male adapter and it did not work. I tried anything from checking the tv connection type and changing the aspect ratio in the wii u menu but to no avail. If anyone could help me out with this issue it would be most appreciated!

Do you have any other HDMI devices you can use to test the adapter with?

i have a xbox 360 but assuming that it works properly which i believe it does, could you help me?

Try hooking up the xbox 360 to the monitor via hdmi>dvi

WOW! Ok I did that but it's still not working! Does it matter if I am using my VGA port or not? Because I am, it is connected to my tower.

Oh yeah, my monitor is a HP 2009m
