I recently bought a new Mario Kart 8 game disc, but it won't run. It reads and downloads the update, but it seems to stop reading the disc after the logo comes up. I don't have any proof of purchase so I can't even return it to gamestop. I bought the dlc too. It seems like a lot of people online are having a similar problem, but no one has a solution. Can I send my game to nintendo so they can replace it or something? It doesn't work in other Wii U's either...
Is it scratched? You might want to see if you can get it repaired that way before sending it to Nintendo. Some places have disc scratch repair and for a couple of dollars they can run your disc through a machine making it good as new.
