Topic: linking my dsi to the nintendo shop

i am new to this forum so please forgive me if this is a stupid question!!!!

my old ds finally gave up last week. after reading a lot of reviews, and because of my 9 1/2 year old daughter, i got a dsi. i had no problems with the console but i cannot link the dsi to the nintendo shop to retrieve her stars/points. i have followed the instructions to the letter. i have tried to contact nintendo, by phone which was useless, and via e-mail. has anyone had a similar problem and could please help.

Do you get an error message or something similar when trying to connect? That might give us some insight into what the problem is. Let us know what exactly the console says and we'll try to help.

For what it's worth, I had a load of problems getting my DSi online when I first got it but once it was set up it was plain sailing from there. It's worth it!

Thanks for the reply. I've just got home from work and found out that my wife tried to connect them earlier and it connected first time. I'll never live this one down!!!!!

Like with a tricky bottle top, just say you loosened it for her
