Topic: Is the game code you had purchased in japan work when you bring it out of japan?

I was trying to purchase a monster hunter xx game code,the shop assistant told me that I cannot download the game until 18 March,but I going back to Malaysia on 17March,would the code still work when I travel back to malaysia?btw I'm using japanese 3ds

The game doesn't even come out until the 18th, that's why you have to wait. Since you have a Japanese 3DS you should be good to go. That said, you better be able to read Japanese, because that's the language the game will be in.
