I'm thinking about getting it but I'm not sure if its a good idea to get it. So I need some advice. Like I'm so into Mario, Sonic, Kirby, Donkey Kong, Zelda, Professor Layton and other games that have an objective that require solutions. But I want answers as to how is this franchise fire emblem?
Does fire emblem awakening require the player to play the other fire emblem games to get the idea of the story. Is it flexible to play as in is it only for hardcore players? Like does it have an objective?

No prior knowledge of Fire Emblem games is needed to enjoy this game. It is flexible to play for both beginners and hardcore players.

Fire Emblem: Awakening can be picked up by anyone who likes strategy games. It can be picked up by beginners and casuals. BEWARE THOUGH: If you start the game on the easiest difficulty then you will prolly overpower the enemies really quickly. The game is at it best when it has a challenge.
I own a Wii U and 3DS. I do plan on getting a PS4 eventually.
