Topic: iNeed Help Doing This With An iPad

Like I know how to like post and stuff but how do I post pictures with the iPad.And stuff like YouTube and stuff like that. Please help me with this.

Well maybe check the iPad site or maybe poke around their forums and see. I am not sure if this is the best place to ask for iPad help.

you use the forums the same way with an iPad, just with your fingers and the on-screen keyboard. If you need to copy and paste things (e.g. the URL to an image so that you can post it to the forums), hold your finger down in the block of text you want to copy from until the magnifier pops up on the screen, highlighting a word. lift your finger from the screen and you'll be able to manipulate the selection to where it's highlighting all the text you want to copy, then select 'copy' when it pops up. to paste that text, hold your finger down in the text-box you're typing into, and it'll give you the option to paste.

As for YouTube on the iPad, i'm pretty sure the iPad doesn't do flash, so you're out of luck unless there's an app for it (which i don't really care about, so idk, lol). If it's Hulu or Netflix you want, there are apps you can download that'll let you access both.

Since almost everything posting-wise on NL is done through BBCode, you should be able to post whatever you want. If you need help remembering how to use BBCode, Wikipedia has got you covered.

@V8_Ninja: actually, NL uses a modified form of BBCode — not all of the available BBCode options will work here (size, color, table, stuff like that iirc).

@Armiturtle: You've already been pointed in the direction of the Helpful Tips for Formatting Messages thread, so you should be good to go regarding what works and what doesn't. As for posting images from your iPad to the internet, the Photobucket method may not work — at least I can't find the 'upload' option when I access my Photobucket account from the iPad i have available to me. You may be stuck just posting images to the forums that have already been uploaded to the internet, in which case you can search Photobucket, Imageshack, Flickr, etc. for existing images and copy/paste the URLs that way.
