If I change my country to UK on the wii would I be able to get the games that released in UK and not U.S yet?
if so, is there any reason to not do it?

I'm pretty sure that wouldn't work due to region coding. I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

Probably not, but again, I'm not sure.

If you changed to Mexico or Canada it would work for same regions, but not to UK. Mexico is missing a few games from the US list and I have heard of it working for them though.

I heard on eu wii's you can change it to austria but doing so makes you lose all your games and points and by that I mean you cant download them anymore...

Don't do it. You could lose your account and you'll need homebrew (which doesn't work on 3.3b and later) to run the games anyway.

Changing the country as others imply will delete your Shop account and prevent you from being able to re-download games you've purchased. I'm pretty sure that the country list is restricted by region, so I'd be surprised if you had the option to change your Wii to be UK out of the box.

Do you know this from experience? It would suck to take that advice and not have it work!
