Topic: I wanted to let others know about Mrio Marathon, but...

...my post was removed. I was told should "advertise Twitch channels" [it's actually much more than just that] in my sig. Well, that defeats the purpose of a post to let others here know about the latest Mario Marathon, the hundreds of thousands of dollars it has raised for Child's Play charity, and the fun watching people play Mario for several days straight.

I have no association with Mario Marathon beyond being a viewer and donator for many years. So it's not like I benefit. Or anyone but Child's Play benefits. I just think people who like these kinds of things might be interested in knowing. This not some haphazard random cheap event. It's very cool, pretty professional, and they've done a lot of good. For that matter I'd say it's the the kind of thing that is well worth a news story on Nintendo Life.

But shrug I just think it's nice to share these things. Whatever.

You can always mention it in the chit-chat thread. Or let NintendoLife directly know, maybe they'll cover it on the front page.

I know it's a charity, but that kinda opens up ways for other kinds of advertisement. So I decided to close it.
