My internet disconnects all the time on WiiU. It's not my internet. The internet browser works perfectly and my internet on my laptop downstairs is very fast and NOT unstable. Miiverse and the eshop never ever work, I drop out all the time and 99% of the time it won't connect me. Sometimes it will, only to kick me out of there again after 2 seconds. I've already looked up the errors, a lot of people are experiencing the same troubles as I am.

Maybe there has been a system update that fixes the issue. But how can I perform a system update if the internet on wiiu never ever works? (only the internet browser for some reason, google, youtube, etc. is no problem). Is there any way that I can perform the update by using my computer? I can't do an update but I desperately need it lol. I'm fed up with Nintendo. And that's an understatement.

According to the IGN wiki (http://uk.ign.com/wikis/wii-u/How_to_Update_Your_Wii_U): 'If the internet connection is lost, the download's progress is retained. After the connection is regained, it will resume from where it left off'. Maybe you can keep trying and you will get it to update eventually?

Nope it will only load for like one second and then I drop out already. Maybe if I keep trying that it'll eventually work for 3 or 4 seconds but I mean, if the update would normally take 20 min, how long is that going to take me? I'm probably gonna have to call their client service, I've had this problem since day 1

Did you try hooking it up to a LAN connection yet? Maybe that will work. I do think that the client service will be able to help you better then me, I am no techie after all ;)

Hmm strange, because using a lan adapter is just a case of plug-and-play. You just have to select it in the settings menu. I hope you can find the solution then!

Ow god I feel like hitting myself. Apparently the signal was too weak because my wiiu stands in a half-open closet. I put it on top of the closet and opened the door of the garage (where the device is) and it..works...

I really feel stupid now. Sorry Nintendo, it was me being an idiot. I didn't figure that out cause my laptop does work on that spot but then again I never put it in a half open closet. Sigh.
