Topic: Hi if I was sold fake Gameboy Advance Games who could I tell to expose the sellers?

I was sold some bogus boxed games through a Facebook group. They refuse to refund my money. I have gone to the police but they are still selling fake games. The seller is saying it is not illegal to sell imported games. They are extremely fake. Is there an actual law that says he can't sell those games? Is there an actual place that deals with these people? Thanks.

Were you told by a mod this? I would be lenient if you had no idea if they were fake or not.

I'm not sure what you would do in this situation. If they're anonymous then the police can't do much.

I bought some to keep and some to sell. The ones I was selling were posted on this board by the guy (my friend) who was going to buy them. I think he might have been banned for posting them even though we didn't realize they were fake until we actually met up to make the sale. The only good thing that came out of this situation is I found Nintendolife.

I wanted to respect the mods. If I'm allowed to post pics I have an imgur folder with them.

Thanks. I know how to spot a fake one now. I just want to get the seller busted. He refuses to stop selling them and says he hasn't broken any laws.

As for my friend who was banned here I feel bad for dragging him into this and wish he could be un-banned.
