My wii works fine, it turns on and all that junk, but it cant seem to find my wii remotes.
Like on the press "a" to continue screen, all 3 of my wiimotes wont respond. They just blink blue light twice and stop unless i hold 1+2 in which they blink for a while futily.
I cant press home, or any button, i tried using the classic to move around but that didnt work either.
Im guessing its the wii because suddenly all the remotes dont work, so its very unlikklly that all the remotes would stop working at the same time.
Eventually the wii will move on to the wii menu, but then nothing works either. No home or anything.
I tried syncing the remotes again, but nothing happened.
What is a person to do??

Try to unplug your wii for like 60 secs then try it again.

Sounds to me as though they lost sync - have you replaced the batteries or left the Remotes dormant for a while? Give the synchronisation road another go, making sure to hold the button on the Wii, push the sync button on the Remotes and then release the Wii's sync button. Should work a treat.

Why does it matter?
Try holding down the Wii sync button for about 5 seconds I think, which deletes all synchronization records, then re-sync.

And can you go a little faster?!

Wii is powered by magic and elves. When you unplug from the outlet, the elves complain and go on strike.

Here's another tip: depending on the game, there's often a menu option you have to choose to activate your remotes. For example, when adding players in Mario Kart Wii or New Super Mario Bros. Wii, there is a separate option that appears when you add players. I followed the on-screen directions and the remote connected instantly. Definitely something to remember when getting friends into a multiplayer game like that.
