Topic: HELP ME PLEASE!!!

I have OOT for VC. I took about a month break and when i came back the ocarina wouldnt recognize songs!!!
I plyed it to open the zora waterfall and it worked but when i played it anywhere else it didnrt work what can i do?!

(a) are you sure you're playing the correct notes for the songs? which one are you trying to play?
(b) are you in the right place for whatever you're trying to do to trigger? for example, you have to be standing on the log for the frogs to show up and react to your ocarina playing, and Epona won't come to you unless you're in Hyrule Field IIRC.
(c) what are you trying to do, exactly? you may have to complete some objective first before you can get another one to trigger.

Open up your menu and go to the part that shows the songs you've unlocked and see if they're still unlocked.

(a) Yes, i'm halfway through the game and am an expert at Ocarina playing.Also i'm trying zeldas lullaby which actually opened the Zora waterfall but only because it prompted me to.
(b)I am in hyrule field attemplting to play Zeldas lullaby, i've gone halfway through the fire temple on death mountain, i am young link, but i tryed as adult.
(c) Play the boloraro of fire to trnasport to the fire temple. Yes i have it unlocked.

Maybe try deleting and redownloading it?

If you delete the game and redownload it, it won't delete your save file as it's on your Wii internal memory but the VC channel and game itself are on SD card or your channel memory. I deleted Mario RPG and reloaded it and it worked for me at the same savepoint.
