Topic: Game Boy Advance Needs Fixing: Impacted Shoulder Button

I've owned my Game Boy Advance for 10+ years now. I've always taken great care when using it, as it's the first Nintendo product I ever owned. Unfortunately a few years back, I actually got mad enough once to toss it at a wall, and since then my R button needs to be pressed harder to make it work. I've had this kind of problem happen before with the GBA SP and the Game Boy Micro, where the buttons just wear out, or dirt gets in them, but this time I know it's different. I've taken it apart and confirmed that the switch for the button took the impact from hitting the wall, and now the button has a distinct loud click to it in contrast with the other side button. Also, I can press with the same force as my L button, the click can be heard, but it doesn't register unless I give it more force. It's consistent every time, and not random, like it is with the GBA SP, DSi, et cetera. I'm not going to replace this handheld, nor am I going to replace its innards just yet. I would like to know if there's some way to readjust the switch back to its original neutral position inside the switch box, or if its even possible to replace the switch itself via soldering. The former idea sounds crazy, but I'm interested to see if it can even be done. If anybody here has one of these solutions, please reply to me.

Look for the L and R button components on ebay. They may be third party however.
