Just thought I'd let you guys know that when I check the Out Now list on the Virtual Console section, for whatever reason Final Fight 2 shows up twice.

Bump...
C'mon mods, what's the holdup?
I kid, but It's been 14 days since I first posted this, it's throwing off the total count off.

@brooks83: just so you know, mods have no control over site content other than comments and forum threads. if you're worried an admin hasn't seen this thread yet, try using the Contact form to let 'em know what's going on. :3

Twice? Now I'm concerned.

To each their own

James

I don't know why it's on there twice, but I'm worried if I delete one game it'll delete both and then there'll be NO Final Fight 2.

For now, learn to love the doppelganger - this isn't on our list of priorities at the moment.

Heh, now ZAMN is showing up twice

Now I'm no expert, but it looks like this happens when a game is released within a few days of each other in the two different regions. FF2 was released on Thursday in EU and then the following Monday in NA. ZAMN was released on Monday and then in the EU on Thursday.

There are two entries because there are two different review pages. Check the scores on the listings. One link goes to the retro review, the other goes to the VC review. So just delete the one with the retro review. It happens when Nintendo Life get ahead of themselves and link to the existing retro review of the game and then later do a proper VC review.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

@Bass - What profound theory. I never thought of that. Though I don't blame NL at all for that case.

Alternatively, the lists are breeding. Like rabbits. Or coathangers.

Should take all of five seconds to fix. Not that I know what Nintendo Life's coding is like but I'm assuming it should be very easy and very simple to remove the duplicate entry (the one with the link to the retro review).

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

Problem fixed? Nope...

Prosody is refusing to fix NintendoLife's simple mistake that should not have been made in the first place. How is keeping the site looking professional NOT a priority? We know what caused it and how to fix it - there's not two identical listings for the same game, there are two listings with links to different review pages.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

Prosody is not refusing to do anything.

He's simply apathetically ignoring it, I suppose.

My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P

And now Super Mario Kart shows up twice... Guys I really don't mean to sound nitpicky, but now the total amount of VC games is off by 3 according to your site. I know it sounds trivial, and I know I can just subtract 3 if I want to know the total, but like Bass pointed out, it just seems really un-professional. How hard could it be to fix the HTML? I really think highly of this site, in fact I read it as much as IGN or Joystiq or any other games site, but the fact that you can't...or won't... fix this minor problem makes me think a little less of this site.
