She hasn't had an email account in a long time. I was thinking that I could try to give her a sub account under my account (if i can) so she can register here and enter the contest too. Would there be a problem with that? I know that a person can't enter more than once. We don't live together and she has been wanting one. This would be hers.

Why not set up a G-mail account (or one of the other gazillion alternatives) for her, it would only take 5 mins and then you can set a account up for her here using her own e-mail address.

I wouldn't recommend Hotmail, two people I know have had Spam sent through their e-mail account. I don't know what is going on exactly, but I my girlfriend has had to open up a new account and delete all contacts on the old.
I might see if I can find anything on this, to the interwebz!

Seems it can come from logging in on a computer containing a trojan, which is possibly any public access computer.

The amount of time it took to type this thread, is probably longer than it would have taken to set up an account.

Just to clarify, you can only have one account associated with each email address, so you can't create a sub-account using your existing email. I'd recommend setting up a gmail account and using that, but be quick - the competition closes tomorrow!

I've got gmail, it's quick and easy to use.

Don't use Live (and Hotmail will probably have the same issue). When I tried to create my account using my Live account it disallowed it, because apparently Microsoft have blocked requests from NL for some reason. Or some such. Had to use my GMail instead.
I'd go and try to screencap the message for your viewing pleasure, but knowing my luck it'll have been fixed within the last fortnight and I'll end up getting yelled at for having two accounts
