Hi NintendoLife! Been reading articles and reviews here forever, but I just now signed up for a forum account.

I wanted to see if it'd be against the rules or etiquette to post about a tool I made for tracking Switch eShop prices. Def self promotion and I'm not looking to offend any community.

If not that's cool, glad to stop being a lurker haha

Hi there, welcome!

We do not allow self promotion or advertisements in threads, posts or comments.

As long as the content you're linking to meets the rules, then you're free to have it in your signature! Just make sure it's not disruptive (for example, putting dozens of different links, abusing uppercase or pasting entire urls without formatting them as links).

As you join the discussions and meet others, they may decide to follow the link on their own initiative.

Thanks!

OK I won't put it in any thread, post, or comment

Would putting a link in my sig be acceptable?

It's https:// my username + .com if you're curious.

edit: Also, unrelated but I can't seem to find out from where I can change my profile pic.. Is it a gravatar or something?

Thanks! I just didn't want to post it directly in there as that seemed against the rules haha
