Topic: Error page appears when i try i access SOME threads (not all)

Hey...So before i begin i would like to make it know that yes i have checked absolutely everything on my end and no my software isn't out of date.

I am unable to access some forum links...Its weird because i can access some of them however when i click on a few such as this one https://www.nintendolife.com/forums/nintendo-switch/the_switch... i am immediately redirected to an error page.

I was unable to reply about this occurrence as the thread where one of the non working links had been provided was locked.

Would it be possible if i could just delete my account and start again. i tried finding information on deleting accounts on here however i was unable to access the threads due to this issue.

i am sorry for being a bother however i am very much confused.

@Scheib-drauf Hi, it won't be related to your account, so no need to delete it.

However, the URL you've posted doesn't exist, therefore it will error. Can you give us another example of a broken URL or a link to the post that contains the link?

@antdickens Thank you for such a speedy reply.

At the moment its these links that don't seem to be working on my device.

The annoying thing is i can access them when i log into my brothers account, yet not on mine. I'm currently having him run some diagnostics on my laptop and other devices in case somethings out of place.

@Scheib-drauf hmm, I just logged into your account and was able to access those URLs just fine... which would potentially suggest the issue is on your side. Have you tried different browsers or devices?

@Scheib-drauf I had a similar issue a few months ago and managed to resolve it by deleting my browsers cookies...have you tried doing that?

@antdickens Sorry for being so late getting back to you. I've cleared my cookies and restarted my laptop and thats seems to have done the trick. Thank you so much for your help
