Do many of the Nintendo exclusives have an auto-save or does it show the button "Would you like to save?" thing?

After so long...I'm back. Don't ask why

From my personal collection on whether they autosave or not:

NSMB U: Kind of. It saves as you progress and then you have to save manually once the game is beaten
Lego City Undercover: yes
Rayman Legends: Yes
Nintendo Land: Yes
Pikmin 3: Yes
Sonic Lost World: Yes
Windwaker HD: No but because it's a Zelda game

fixed for you, I don't remember ever seeing a zelda game with autosave(unless you count those parts that ask if you want to save in some Zelda games, but even counting those it's still kind of rare)

@Guitardude7 true but I think games like Zelda are kinda better without mandatory autosave(optional would be good though), I mean if you screw-up bad and it autosaves there's a chance you will be stuck(or have to backtrack a lot just to get something that was overlooked, sometime turning off without saving helps a lot )

I think the best option would be to have a manual save and an auto save, that way we get the best of both worlds.

The last thing I want in a non-linear game like Zelda is autosave. Its not progress, you can get royally screwed up at some point and the game rewrites the save file automatically. It's just messed up.

Does Super Mario 3D world have an auto-save as well if anyone has played that game?

The reason why I'm concerned about this is that my place has power cuts frequently so auto-save is indeed helpful to me atleast.

@GuSilverFlame True, but you have to remember, these Zelda games were made at a point in time where an autosave feature wasn't available. Autosaving might find its way to Zelda U. I mean after all, they are "rethinking the conventions of Zelda" after all. This might be one of those changes. You can't say for sure.

But none of the new ones have autosave either. Heck, the 3DS game has save points

@DarkwingLz what? savepoints? cool! I think it's the first time with save points for Zelda games(of course I didn't play all of them so I might be wrong )

It have auto-save, every time you beat a stage and when you quit the game.
