Topic: Compatibility Wii rvl-001 with new game?

I have a Wii rvl-001 (with balance board, motion plus, and numchuck) that I want to give to my granddaughter. She wants to use it with the "Just Dance" games, among others. My question: is the 2017 "Just Dance" compatible with the older Wii model or are the new versions just for Wii U? Thank you.

Yes, they are still making Wii versions of the Just Dance games, but make sure the version you buy says it's for Wii on the cover. if it says Wii U, it won't work.

Oh, another thing i just remembered. Any wii game always came with the system update it needed to work on the disc with the game, so if your Wii console needs an update, it'll tell you and just install it from the game disc itself when you try to play the game for the first time.
