This is a new feature. To speed up initial page load the avatars are only loaded when you actually have them in view - articles where we have 200+ comments this should improve loading by quite a lot.

I've not tested the site on the Wii recently - I think we'll implement the mobile/3ds view for the Wii as it'll be much better suited.

@antdickens hopefully that should work. i`ll post here when i`ve noticed the change.
also, hopefully it`ll sort out tha banner problem too. the wii browser won`t load the main page properly if the banner is too busy.
i had the problem before but i couldn`t figure it out what it was until the NSMB2 banner was up recently. now it`s down, the main page loads fine.

@dizzy_boy: more than a few of us had a problem with that NSMB2 banner/site skin for one reason or another. you weren't alone, trust me :3

@ant: i look forward to seeing that in action the next time we all get together to talk about favorite Mario games :3

my wii browser decided that it doesn`t like posting comments on the news articles.
i`be deleted my wii browser and the save file, then downloaded it again, but the problem is still there.
it`s been like it for a few days now.
