This is a somewhat common occurrence for me. I look at the comments, and the latest one is at the bottom, like normal. After some time passes, though the old comments start appearing underneath them, similar to how new comments refresh on posts.

Check the dates on that screenshot. If I scroll up, those old comments are still there at the top too. The first time I saw this happen, I thought someone posted their comment again months after they originally posted it. I was like lolwut.
I'm using Firefox. Dunno if it's a problem on other browsers or not.
As of today, I've been unable to post comments in articles or gaming reviews. I type in my message and click on reply, but then the words just disappear. Does anybody know why this may be occurring, because I've never experienced this issue before.
Guys, we do still check this thread. Ant made some fixes this morning, and I've tested them myself and they seem to work okay for me (as a normal user). Please try posting and deleting your own comments now and see if it works for you.
Also, if you find yourself unable to delete a comment via the article page, do me a favor and try opening the 'delete' link in a new tab and deleting it from there, see if that works or not.

@TBD There was a bug earlier where it was Nintenbro's avatar and username, but with the text of your post. I was confused, and thought he actually did post that to troll us. In short, I couldn't take a screencap to show.
Ummm... Yeah, I'm still not able to post comments in articles or gaming reviews. I'm still able to post in the forums, but that's it. Like I said before, this never happened before that day. I'm just guessing, but certain coding must have been edited somehow.

I've tried to post in multiple articles and reviews with the same results. I've only been able to post messages in the forums lately. I'm using the Wii and or 3DS browser, like I always have. I believe this didn't begin occurring, until that day the Toki Tori contest began.
Today I am noticing that when I hit post reply when I comment on News articles It will double post my comment and I hit my mouse button once. Than when I go delete the extra comment (Dupe posts just bug me) it deletes both comments even when I hit delete only on one of them. If it helps I am running Firefox on Windows 7.

@Tasuki: Try refreshing the page before you go deleting your comments — half the time when i post on the main site now it looks like i've double-posted, but then when i refresh the page i've only posted once. that could be what's happening to you; it's showing the same comment posted twice so when you delete 'one of them' they both disappear.

I`ve had the same problem as nintenbro over the past few days, but it seems to be working now.
i use my wii browser alot, so that may have been the problem.
thing is though, whatever has sorted out the comments problem has now affected the avatars, they`re all set to the site default avatar. although everything`s fine in the forums.
@dizzy_boy: for me, for whatever reason avatars on the main site have been loading much slower than the rest of the page — it'll be a few seconds after the page has fully loaded/is scrollable before they'll pop to their normal avatars instead of the site default. how long are you giving a page to load?

@TBD i let the pages load fully on my wii browser.
it also keeps doing the page refresh thing that chat rooms do. so i left it for about a minute and the avatars still don`t load.
tbh, it`s not a huge problem, just as long as i can read the articles and comments. but i just thought that admin might want to look into it.
i don`t know if you have a wii. but if you do, can you try the news section for yourself, i don`t know if it`s just me experiencing this problem. pc`s are obviously way more up to date with the web drivers, where as the wii browser is at best, 5 years behind.
