In Sweden where I come from there is no Nintendo Club. Due to our national Nintendo distributors being such pricks I usually try not to send my money their ways. I therefor sometimes get those "register your game at nintendo club notes". As I´d like to trade in those club nintendo points to regular wii shop points I have made myself a club nintendo account but can´t lock it to my "swedish" Wii. My question is: is it possible to: change localization to uk and lock my wii to club nintendo, redeem my wii points, buy some game and change back to swedish localization? Read somewhere that points will reset to zero if I change country, true? Any other drawbacks?

On my last "register your game" card I got these countries was mentioned as "Eligibility to membership" UK & Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Portugal and South Africa.
@killer6370: Noticed that your registred nintendolife country was germany, maybe there is no problem for you??

About £15 dude, £18-20 tops, for 2000 points. I wish you luck in your endeavors, does seem unfair you can't claim what you are entitled to.

So if I change region (as europe to australia) I will not only lose my points but also my games? I thought games were locked to my Wii ID. Very well, I will keep myself within Europe. Let us know if or if not you run into any troubles when you change to uk. I will wait a while, was just short of N-Club points to get any useful amount of Wiipoints. Anybody else that has any info about this topic? Feel free to share it with the rest of us.

I have the same problem. I live in Denmark and we dont have Club Nintendo either!
But just to be sure, I can change me location to UK or another EU country To get my points on the shop channel (and even buy points with UK prices). And I won't lose any game or points?:):):):)
But if I change to Australia i lose everything?

In Aus we hhave next to nothing in the Club Nintendo rewards. And as I buy a lot of games from the UK (as they end up a lot cheaper than getting them here), I can;t get the rewards from my Aus account. Ive thought about setting up a UK CN account, but Im not sure if they will post hhere.

Great info, killer6370. How much did you pay for 1000 points in the Wii shop?

8,44 Euro for 1000 points because UK they cost 7 Pounds for 1000 so its nearly 2,50 euro cheaper than in our shop channel
