I acquired a secondhand 3DS console lately.. and I'm not really up to speed with anything Nintendo so I ordered some games online from the USA. Unfortunately, I'm in South Africa and the 3DS I bought is EU.
I think you all know what that means. Beautiful region lock.
I was wondering if anyone knows of a website where exchanging the games for EU versions is possible?
I guess you could try selling those games on something like e-Bay, and then repurchasing them for your region there. Yeah, not exactly an optimal solution.
Conversely, you could do the same for your console, like @Mk_II suggested.
Yeah unfortunately there is no service that will let you exchange different regional games. You could maybe see if the place you ordered them on online has a return policy and return the games and get your money back and then use that to buy EU games. Either that or as others have said sell the games on Ebay or something like that and take the money you make from that to rebuy the games for your region.
