Topic: Can't access eshop due to balance limit

Hello everyone,

Today I added 100 euro's to my balance to buy 2 games (there was 17 euro on it already).
I wanted to download a demo first but I had to create a NNID first. After I did this I had to fill in my password to my NNID before I could access the store again.
However, every time It logs me in but when loading the eshop I get errror: 011 -6542 "your balance has reached it maximum level". What can I do to get into the store again? And are my funds gone now?

Maybe contact Nintendo.

Yes but, I get this error when loading the eshop so I can't even get into the eshop anymore, that's the problem.. Thanks for the info anyways, didn't know this.

The reason it happened this way is probably because I just created a NNID and they couldn't track it before

Hey I can’t see the whole conversation, how did you fix it? I just bought a new 2ds xl and wanted to buy some games so I wanted to refill 100€, then I needed to make a NNID but when I tried going back in the E-Shop I got the 011-6542... how did you fix it? And are my 100€ gone now?
